Hogue Hill Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning Practice Group
Our Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning Group provides services for the planning for the management and disposition of assets during lifetime and at death, and for health care planning, including planning for end of life (withholding of health care to assure a natural death for those to whom avoidance of prolongation of life after enjoyment of life has ended is important). Issues of guardianship of children, protection of assets for the benefit of descendants and other family, charitable giving, and organ donation and disposition of remains, can be addressed if desired.
Hogue Hill Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning Practice Group Attorneys
The Hogue Hill Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning Practice Group includes attorneys Talmage Jones and Patti Jenkins, who provide services which include estate tax planning for larger estates, and attorneys Bill Lynch and Jim Snow, who prepare simple wills and trusts appropriate to estates not subject to the estate tax, or work in association with Talmage and Patti to include their tax planning expertise, when clients desire that Bill or Jim participate in planning their larger estates. Talmage, Patti, Bill and Jim each are available to prepare wills, codicils, and trusts, form family limited liability companies, family limited partnerships, and prepare advance directives (living wills, declarations of desire for natural death), health care powers of attorney, general powers of attorney, durable general powers of attorney, limited powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents; review of documents prepared by attorneys practicing in other States for compliance with North Carolina requirements, and post-mortem estate planning. When post-mortem estate planning involves estate taxation, Talmage and Patti handle those issues.
